um, I think we might have a small problem

My veil gives me horns.

I've been in love with the Mantilla veil since I first saw it, so when my FMIL offered to buy it for me as a gift, I was stoked! We both searched online, made some calls, and we were able to find something that matches the lace on my dress perfectly!

The issue I'm having is not because of the veil itself- it's because of the way I want to wear the veil, which is a bit more forward than it's designed to be worn. I want the lace to come across my hair in the front, rather than hang down my back when I walk down the aisle.


So with only a month left to the wedding, what do I do? Should I risk altering the veil or just wear it farther back on my head? It can't be too difficult to just remove some of the lace along the comb, but I'm worried it won't look right. Help, hive!
