On my way to work today, I was listening to the radio announcer read listener emails about their experiences seven years ago. Many of them lost husbands, wives, and children in the events of September 11. Champ and I live in the DC area, and many of the roads around the Pentagon in Virginia are closed for a memorial today. Typically in traffic, I just sing along to the radio and daydream about wedding details, work issues, and other randoms that pop into my head. This morning was completely different. There were planes flying above the cars below, and I couldn't help but think about those affected most deeply by the disaster that was September 11th.

Champ and I are so lucky to have each other, and many of you here on weddingbee know that there is no replacement for true love and nothing worse than true love lost.

I didn't want to be Debbie Downer this morning, but I just wanted to share my appreciation and respect for all those involved in the events that occurred September 11th. For those of us who have not lost loved ones, my hope is that we commit to fully love each other every day, as one moment can change it all.
